Mia Carpiniello

As you might guess, Mia Carpiniello, the founder of Organizing Philly, has always had a knack for organizing.  A working mom and resident of Center City, Mia appreciates the value of utilizing space and time efficiently.  She is a proud member of both the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and the local Greater Philadelphia chapter (NAPO-GPC). Mia speaks regularly on organizing. For example, she has taught courses and workshops at Temple University Center City Campus and at IKEA.

Prior to opening Organizing Philly, Mia received her undergraduate degree from Columbia University and a law degree from Georgetown University, clerked for a federal judge, and worked as a government and public interest lawyer.  In her “legal” endeavors, she used her organizational skills to analyze legal issues, write legal briefs, and counsel clients.

While practicing law, Mia helped numerous friends and family members get organized.  Eventually, a friend convinced her to make her passion her career, and Mia left the practice of law to start Organizing Philly.  She now brings order to her clients' lives by implementing organizing solutions personalized to their needs.
